SatCalc 1.2 Satellite Look Angle Calculator

Here's a neat look angle calculator.  I like it because you can enter your City/State OR Zipcode and it outputs a lot of useful information like Azimuth, Elevation, Latitude, Longitude, and Magnetic Deviation.  It also has a text database for the satellites that makes it easy to modify satellite names and easy to add or delete satellites.  I also like it because it's open source, free and easy to use.  Here's what it looks like.

Like to have it on your desktop?

Download and install SatCalc Setup. Note: Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 or above. You can also download the latest Satellite DataBase here, unzip and save it to SatCalc's program directory replacing your existing file "satellites.db.txt".

Once you have it up and running, you can use a AF1 Site Survey Tool or simular device to pin point your satellite and determine if there is any signal blockage at your desired install site.
